obsidian is an aerial solo piece performed on a sculptural aerial apparatus designed by melkior arthur. it explores the incarnation of different states and bodies in a mineral landscape where wordless thoughts take physical form, unfolding as a haunting journey of shedding, darkness, and emergence, through the unique language of danced aerial performance and contortion.
